Dr. Poon joined the Tyndale counseling ministries faculty in 1991. He has a wealth of experience in the disciplines of family medicine, theology, counseling, psychology, pastoral counseling and marriage and family therapy. He is a Fellow of the College of Family Physicians of Canada, and a Fellow and Diplomate of the American Board of Medical Psychotherapists. He has published widely and has presented many papers both in Canada and internationally. He subscribes to a truly whole-person and family-centered approach in the well being of individuals and families by looking at the bio-psycho-social-cultural-spiritual aspects of persons. Dr. Poon is an ordained counseling minister with the Canadian Baptists of Ontario and Quebec.
